Hey Tim and Kelly;                                                                                                     Sunday Jan 17/2010

Just a note to thank you all for providing a wonderful weekend for myslef and my three friends. Everything was supurb, the fishing was great, the accommodations, hospitality and fishhuts all were wonderful, but what we were most impressed with was your eagarness to please us. My parents owned a large lodge for a few years, and guests can be demanding and unreasonable, which over the years can harden owners to be anything but caring and wanting to please their guests.

I understand you have owned Leisure Cottages for 11 years, and while that would certainly be ample time to be lax in your desire to please your guests, it certainly is not the case. You could not have been more willing to ensure that our fishing weekend was the best it could be.

We will be back next winter, and possibly in the summer as well, and if you have anyone who would like a reference about Leisure Cottages, I would be happy to pass on our comments.

Leisure Cottages RR#4, Box 41 Havelock, ON KOL 1ZO

Hi Kelly and Tim:

We wanted to send you this letter to let you all know (Cindy, her hubby, and your Mom included of course) how wonderful our week's vacation was this past July at Leisure Cottages. Spending that beautiful week there has left me with a terrific "high" to carry me through the rest of this summer.

Everything there far exceeded our expectations and I just can't stop bragging about your resort to family and friends alike. The cottage we rented was gorgeous (and I also peaked into some of the other cottages and chalets when they were vacant and they are also beautifully kept as well), and it really was impressive that all have a beautiful view of the lake; the swimming was great; the fishing was the best that Ron, Jennifer and Richard had ever experienced at other lakes; the overall cleanliness and appearance of the resort and surrounding grounds was terrific; the availability of laundry facilities was very handy; the great food and ice cream at the chip truck served up by your Mom and sister Cindy was delicious and extremely convenient on those days when we just didn't feel like cooking ourselves; and the hospitality and friendliness that was extended to our family by all of you certainly made our week an unforgettable experience. The couple of requests we had upon first arriving were attended to immediately and to our utmost satisfaction.

It certainly speaks highly of your resort when so many of your returning guests travel great distances and have been doing so for the past 30+ years to spend their vacations with you. You should all be extremely proud of your beautiful resort. We cannot wait to come back again next July (and the next and the next, etc.) to spend our vacation at your cottages. And I'm pretty confident that Ron and Richard will be back this winter for an ice-fishing weekend.

I'm sending you a few of the pictures we took that week. If you look closely at the picture of the chip truck you will see your Mom's friendly, smiling face as she was preparing one of our breakfasts that week. Another picture is of Jen with her great catch of bass one night (although she preferred to keep them in the net rather than holding them up for this picture).

Again, thank you all for your hospitality and we look forward to seeing you again next summer.
